STONE STORY WARRANTY & REPAIR POLICY
At Stone Story, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our jewelry. We stand by our products and offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure customer satisfaction and protection against manufacturing defects. Please read the following details carefully.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
Duration:
- All Stone Story products are covered under a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, excluding stretchable cord bracelets.

Stretchable cord bracelets are covered under a 6-month warranty.
What’s Covered:

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Free restoration of stretchable cord bracelets (up to 2 times during the warranty period, provided all original beads, stones, and metal accents are returned).

Repair of clasps, hooks, chains, and other metal components found defective upon arrival.
Exclusions:

Normal wear and tear, including tarnishing, fading of plating, or scratches.

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, or exposure to chemicals, water, or extreme conditions.

Loss of gemstones due to impact, rough wear, or improper handling.
- Products that have been altered, repaired, or resized by third parties.
2. RESTORATION OF STRETCHABLE CORD BRACELETS

Customers can avail free restringing services up to 2 times within the 6-month warranty period, provided all original beads, stones, and metal accents are returned.

If any beads, stones, or metal accents are missing, the customer will be charged for replacements, which must be prepaid before the repair is processed.

After the 6-month warranty period, restringing will be chargeable at ₹500 per repair, excluding the cost of missing components and shipping.
3. METAL REFURBISHING SERVICES

We offer refurbishing services exclusively for Stone Story jewelry. This includes repolishing, re-plating, and stone cleaning to restore the original shine.

If the jewelry is eligible and within the warranty period, refurbishment is free. However, the customer must ship the product to us at their own expense. Stone Story will cover the return shipping.

Refurbishment services will not be provided free of charge if the item shows signs of misuse, excessive wear, or neglect.

After the warranty period, refurbishment services are chargeable and priced depending on the condition and material of the item (starting at ₹500). The customer will bear both side shipping charges.

Exclusions: Stretchable cord bracelets without charms are not eligible for refurbishing.
4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
How to Initiate a Claim:

Contact us via email or our support team with details of the issue and proof of purchase.

Provide clear photos of the item showing the defect for preliminary assessment.

If approved, we will provide instructions on how to ship the product back for repair.
Shipping Costs:

Stretchable Cord Bracelets (Warranty Period): Customers must ship the bracelet to us at their own cost. Stone Story will cover return shipping after repair.

Other Items (Manufacturing Defects): If the issue is deemed a clear manufacturing defect, Stone Story will cover both incoming and return shipping. If the defect is unclear, the customer must ship it to us at their own cost for inspection. If approved, we will cover return shipping.

Refurbishment (Within Warranty): If approved, customer ships to us, and we bear return shipping.

Repairs or Refurbishment (Post Warranty): All shipping charges (to and fro) will be borne by the customer.
5. LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

Custom Orders: Customized and made-to-order pieces are not covered under warranty.

Refurbishment Denial: If a product does not qualify for repair/refurbishment due to excessive damage or wear, the customer is responsible for return shipping.

One-Time Exchange: If a customer opts for an exchange within 7 days due to dissatisfaction, the exchanged product is not eligible for any future warranty claims or exchanges.

StoneStory reserves the right to modify or update the warranty terms at any time without prior notice.
